Duffy Role Model Assembly - Shelby Wolf aka Princess Nan

Yesterday we had a very special guest to Ohaeawai school - Shelby Wolf but we can call her Princess Nan.

Princess Nan loved reading to animals as a kid. Animals didn't judge or make comments about her reading they just listened. She then spent many years with animals at the SPCA. She now works with Auto Angel (an all-female sales team) and is currently modifying her Hot Rod muscle car ready for racing.

We can't wait to get our Duffy books to read soon. Maybe we could find an animal to read to!

 

Domino Maths

This week we used dominos for our maths learning. We looked at odd and even numbers, and number bonds to five. We also challenged them to justify their findings. You may have dominos at home for your child to explore with. Alternatively you could try this digital Dominoes Environment.
