Students view of our collaborative classroom

Here is a quick video star that a student created at the end of term 3.  I only just discovered it on the iPad so enjoy viewing our collaborative classrooms from a students point of view, and what their self selected mixed ability level groups look like.  As a teacher it was very interesting to see what students see, and how the class interact with learning tasks, each other and me.

Enjoy.

This week we have been  learning about writing alien stories with introductions. For our maths we have been learning about -teen and -ty numbers, we have been learning about  basic facts too.  Every Friday we have a test.  We are writing and reading about Tane and the stars.  On Wednesday we had hockey with with Whaea Gina.  We had a fun time with Whaea Gina.
